Positive vibes.....

Eddie & LU was born from a sensitivity to soya bean products, inspired by a beautiful Fijian family and created in Aotearoa.

Highly sensitive to anything containing soy and unable to easily find a candle that wasn't made using soy wax, my thought was "If I can't find what I want - why not create it myself?"  I am not one to sit around and wait for things to happen, I enjoy the challenge that being busy brings and have always been a bit of a do-it-yourself kind of girl.

So the hunt for the raw ingredients began, wax sourced & trialed, fragrances  tested, wicks trialed, packaging designed and brand created! 
 
This was a very different thought process to what I am used to doing on a daily basis.  As an interior designer for over 16 years, I automatically gravitate to beautiful things and beautiful fragrances are part of creating beautiful spaces.  I love finding new things to share with my clients.
 
Only too familiar with the array of additives found in products today, my candles had to be coconut wax,  so others with soy sensitivities (and there are more people than you realise) can also enjoy them in their home.  Just because we have allergies, we shouldn't have to miss out on beautiful things!
